Glenalden Kitchen/Downstairs 2022

Project Description:
This is a well-built house from around 1980 that had a fairly nice open floor plan, but too much brick, too many different floor types, and a missed opportunity for a huge party-worthy island. We gutted the kitchen and started from scratch. While we had the house vacant we also remodeled the rest of the downstairs common areas with new flooring, smooth ceilings and paint. We hit the halls, den, diingroom, laundry, and went ahead and surprised the owner with an updated 1/2 bath since we were working all around it anyway. Note the solid white oak shelving in the bar area. Made from some 100 year old rafter beams from an old barn in Collierville.
Almost forgot, we added a dog entrance from the back yard to the laundry room tile floor, where dog feet can be cleaned before tracking across the new hardwood floors.
