Project Description

When you want something this unique and 1-of-a-kind, you can’t just go shopping for it.  You have to create it. And that’s what several local artists, craftsmen, and myself did here.  everything of interest here is handmade and completely original.  The vent-hood, the hutch (which discretely hides a frige unit), the iron lighting, the beams. the drawerstack, the backsplash, the island, the flooring, the wall finishes.  It was all done by hand, nothing manufactured or prefinished.  Why?  Because the owner knew exactly what she wanted, and it’s not something you can go out and buy.  This was part of a larger remodel and included a dining room, hearthroom, and a large bay window added to overlook the gardens.
