Riverchase Cove Kitchen

Project Description

This is a galley kitchen and changing that was not part of the plan or the budget.  What was needed was a cosmetic makeover and a little rearanging of the existing kitchen.  The owners were ready for something that had their “name” on it.  They wanted white cabinets, but with a furniture feel.  We combined the 2 in the custom piece seen here with a heart pine slab countertop.   We updated and added to the cabinets, changed from laminate counters to granite, and moved the fridge out of the prep area.  The doorway to the kitchen was widened and new floors were installed; Brazilian teak, and they run throughout the house.  The backsplash keeps with the muted theme of the cabinets, allowing the intended accents to stand out. The sink is a big single bowl undermount, great for large pots and pans that the owner uses cooking for her large family.
